My, how time flies!! Has it really been more than a year since my last post?? The camera hasn't seen the light of day all that much during the past year due to work and other stuff but recently, for three weeks, it was practically glowing as I snapped away at everything that moved, (and most things that didn't), in Wales. I reckon I took about 1700 photos in all, which were whittled down to around 1100 after the duds and duplicates were deleted! Some of the resulting keepers can be found in the "Wales" gallery. Spent a good few days over the past couple of weeks off work and out taking photographs up in the wilds of North Norfolk. Nice to get out and take your time instead of rushing a couple of hours here and there. Have posted a few images on my Flickr photostream (here) and updated the Galleries pages making them a bit more 'user friendly'.  Photos added.... 10/06/2010

Visited the Iceni village and nature reserve at Cockley Cley recently click here where many photos were taken whilst enjoying a leisurely stroll in the Norfolk countryside. Photos here Popped into Swaffham for a bite to eat on the way back hoping to bump into Stephen Fry. Seems he knew we were coming and made a hasty exit to some unknown hideaway! :-) Maybe next time. Added a links page and finally got around to adding a blog page.  Little Ormesby Broad Wednesday 2nd June 2010 Spent the evening at the Eels Foot Inn, (great food and location) situated next to Little Ormesby Broad in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, with a metal detecting friend who has recently got himself a nice Canon DSLR. He’d asked if I could give him a few tips, (a bit like the blind leading the blind!), to help him learn a bit more about the camera which is similar to my 40D. Whilst there we took a few photos, sampled a pint of the Inns hospitality and got attacked by billions of midges!! If we go again, I’ll be taking along a flame-thrower and a case of anti-bug cream! | Meanderings and Waffle
